Mercy Rehabilitation & Care Center Recurring Activities: Plenty To Do in Swansea, IL
Exercise Group is held Monday through Saturday in the main dining room at 10:00am. This fun group is led by our activities department. Residents are guided in low-impact aerobics, stretching, breathing, and flexibility exercises. All residents are welcome to attend.
Catholic Communion is held every Tuesday at 9:45am and every 4th Thursday in the main dining room. Residents of all denominations are welcome to attend.
Catholic Mass is held the 2nd Thursday of every month. Residents of all denominations are welcome to attend.
Nondenominational Religious Services are held at 10:30am on the first Sunday of each month.
Snack Social is held daily at 3:15pm in the main dining room. Special snacks are served and families are welcome to join.
Holiday Parties are held for every major holiday as well as other celebrations and include entertainment, appetizers, refreshments throughout the year. Family is welcome to join in the fun.
Community Outings are scheduled weekly. Transportation is provided. Family is welcome to join. Our residents enjoy outings to various local attractions, shopping, and restaurants.
Resident Birthday Parties are held monthly to celebrate all current birthdays for the month. Live entertainment, dessert, and refreshments are provided. Family is welcome to attend.
All Birthdays, Community Outings, Employee Anniversaries, Menu, Daily Activities, and any announcements are highlighted daily on the Electronic Communication Board hung just through the main lobby.
